Guardian Pharmacy recognizes its nursing partners
GUARDIAN PHARMACY SEFL PAYS IT FORWARD
DEERFIELD BEACH FL, November 27, 2019 – Guardian Pharmacy SEFL’s data entry and pharmacists got together to bring Thanksgiving to those less fortunate. The group of over a dozen employees served a bountiful Thanksgiving meal to the Broward Partnership Pompano Beach Center’s residents from 10 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, November 27th.
In addition, the Guardian group prepared 300 “Blessing Bags” for those participating in the Thanksgiving meals of toiletries and snacks.
Alan Traster, Guardian Pharmacy SEFL president, said, “We are blessed to be able to share this holiday season with those less fortunate. Our hope is to bring some happiness and cheer in the lives of people who truly deserve it. We are pleased to be sharing this with the Broward Partnership of Pompano Beach and thank them for their support. I would acknowledge the contribution of our fellow Guardian Pharmacy employees who took this charitable opportunity upon themselves.”

Guardian Pharmacy SE FL was awarded Guardian’s Pharmacy of the Year at its annual meeting in Dallas, Texas. Noting the outstanding performance by the SE FL group, Alan Traster, president, graciously accepted the award on behalf of the pharmacy.

Guardian Pharmacy’s recent participation at the Florida Health Care Association’s 2019 Regional PDPM Seminars was a great success and a wonderful experience for everyone involved.

Guardian Pharmacy Decorates For the Gift Of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation
Guardian Pharmacy decorated every door in its Delray facility to raise awareness for the Gift of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation. The decorations which were judged by Gift of Hope breast cancer survivors and current breast cancer patients, awarded prizes for the most creative submissions. And there were many!. In addition, the winning team was given passes to the Men Can Cook event at Mizner County Club. All participating team members collected donations for the Gift of Hope charity. Guardian Pharmacy also made a cash donation.
The Gift of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial support to low-income women in need during their course of treatment with breast cancer. Among the financial support given are monthly bills such as gas, electric, phone and groceries. The Gift of Hope believes that no woman should have to worry about how her bills are going to being paid, but rather concentrate on getting well.
The Gift of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation relies on donations and fundraisers to help many families in Palm Beach, Broward, Dade and St. Lucie Counties. As a leader in pharmaceutical care, Guardian Pharmacy understands the impact on families dealing with diseases such as breast cancer. As such, they are avid supports of The Gift of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation.
