Guardian Pharmacy SE Florida was one of 526 teams that collectively raised $510,667.41 in the, “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer,” event for the American Cancer Society. Over 35 local employees proudly walked with their coworkers and family members to help raise funds, celebrate survivorship, and express hope in making this century the last that breast cancer takes lives. The funds are used for breast cancer research, community education, and patient services.
There are over 1,000,000 volunteers nationwide, and we proudly walked alongside Cleveland Clinic, Holy Cross Hospital, Memorial Breast Cancer Institute, University of Miami Health System, as well as many other devoted volunteers.

Guardian SE Florida was fortunate not to fall victim of Hurricane Matthew. But, as the storm approached, thousands of medications for a week’s worth of orders were filled in just 2 days, thanks to the collaborative efforts of all of our staff. Our service levels to our customers remained a high priority, and we were prepared well in advance.
Our staff showed amazing team spirit and dedication. We had no idea until after the fact, that two of our valued team members had lost family in Haiti as a result of this horrific storm. They did not complain; they didn’t stop working; they just kept on going, pursuing the goal of completing all medications orders prior to us closing the pharmacy.
The pharmacy has started a relief fund that includes supplies for the families and loved ones left behind. This was turned over to our employees, who directed it to families in need. In addition, Alan Traster, President, personally thanked our employees and offered them grievance funds which were passed it on to the survivors in need in Haiti.
We are proud to have these people as our Guardian Family, and wish them strength and courage during this challenging time.

Guardian Pharmacy SEFL is proud to announce it has now completed training of over 1500 students through its In-House Nurse Education Program.
In making the announcement, Alan Traster, president, noted, “we are extremely proud of the results of our In-House Nurse Education Program; especially how well received it has been from our resident communities. It furthers our commitment to an individualized approach to meet a community’s specific requirements in order to deliver the most effective pharmacy care possible for residents.”

Sommer Baker and Isis Snow have created a visualization for the,”Thank You Program,” a growth plan for the on boarding of our new facilities. Guardian SEFL celebrates patient count milestones, with treats such as pizza parties, ice cream days, burger days, and more! Successes are shared at this pharmacy.

Robert joined Guardian Pharmacy SE Florida a month ago from Brooklyn, New York. Prior to working for us, he was a Pharmacist Entrepreneur with 3 pharmacies in the New York area.
Our new pharmacist moved down with his beautiful family which includes his wife and 8-year old daughter. During his free time, Robert’s hobby is to practice Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. His goal is to enjoy the warm weather, his new-construction home, and sparkling-blue new pool!
We are excited about our new addition and welcome Robert to Guardian Pharmacy with open arms.
